# Add a contact to the address book

`POST /api/v1/contacts`

## Request

- Base URL: `http://localhost:5180`
- URL: `http://localhost:5180/api/v1/contacts`
- Auth: API key in cookie `better-auth.session_token`

Adds a person or a company. Email first and then phone are the channels a message would try, in that order, and the language is the team’s unless another is given. Nothing is sent to the contact.
