# Renew the bank’s consent for one account

`POST /api/v1/banking/ponto/links/{bankAccountId}/reauthorize`

## Request

- Base URL: `http://localhost:5180`
- URL: `http://localhost:5180/api/v1/banking/ponto/links/{bankAccountId}/reauthorize`
- Auth: API key in cookie `better-auth.session_token`

A bank’s consent runs out, usually after 90 or 180 days. This asks Ponto for the page where the owner renews it for one account, without starting a new connection. They come back to the bank accounts page, and Ponto confirms the renewal on its own. Owners only.

## Path parameters

- `bankAccountId` string, required

## Response `200`

Where to send the owner.

- object
  - `ok` unknown, required
  - `data` object, required
    - `redirect` string, required: Ponto’s page for renewing the consent.
  - `meta` object, required
    - `requestId` string, required: Echoed in the x-request-id header. Quote it in a bug report.

## Other responses

- `400`: The connection is not live, the bank offers no renewal for this account, or the bank could not be reached. Where no renewal is offered, `details.reconnect` is true, because connecting again is the way on.
- `403`: Only an owner of the team may do this, and support may not do it for a customer. A member is refused with `details.reason` `owner_only`.
- `404`: That account is not read over Ponto.
- `409`: Another check is reading the bank right now. Ask again in a moment.
