# Take back a Plaid connection

`DELETE /api/v1/banking/plaid/connections/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `http://localhost:5180`
- URL: `http://localhost:5180/api/v1/banking/plaid/connections/{id}`
- Auth: API key in cookie `better-auth.session_token`

Ends the grant at Plaid, which is what stops it being billed there, deletes the credential we held for it and leaves every account it fed importing by hand. The accounts, their balances and their history stay: a connection is how movements arrive and never what they are. Owners only.
