# Delete a statement import and the movements it brought

`DELETE /api/v1/banking/accounts/{accountId}/statements/{importId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `http://localhost:5180`
- URL: `http://localhost:5180/api/v1/banking/accounts/{accountId}/statements/{importId}`
- Auth: API key in cookie `better-auth.session_token`

Removes the import and every movement it wrote, then works the balances out again. An import still being read stops being read. A read from a connected bank is refused, and so is an import with a movement placed against what it paid, until that is undone. The statement stays in the filing.
