# Delete a movement typed in or imported from a file

`DELETE /api/v1/banking/accounts/{accountId}/movements/{movementId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `http://localhost:5180`
- URL: `http://localhost:5180/api/v1/banking/accounts/{accountId}/movements/{movementId}`
- Auth: API key in cookie `better-auth.session_token`

Removes one movement and works the balances after it out again. A movement a connected bank reported is refused, because the next read would bring it back; so is one placed against what it paid, which has to be undone first.

## Other responses

- `404`: No such movement on this account.
- `409`: The movement came from a connected bank, or is placed against what it paid.
