# Retry DAG-run execution

`POST /dag-runs/{name}/{dagRunId}/retry`

Creates a new DAG-run based on a previous execution

## Path parameters

- `name` string, regex, required — Name of the DAG
- `dagRunId` string, required — Unique identifier for the DAG-run. The special value 'latest' can be used to reference the most recent DAG-run.

## Query parameters

- `remoteNode` string

## Request body

- object
  - `dagRunId` string, required — ID of the DAG-run to retry
  - `stepName` string — Optional. If provided, only this step will be retried.

## Response `200`

A successful response
