# Publish a single sync item

`POST /sync/items/{itemId}/publish`

Commits and pushes a single sync item to the remote repository

## Path parameters

- `itemId` string, required

## Query parameters

- `remoteNode` string

## Request body

- SyncPublishRequest — Request to publish a sync item
  - `message` string — Commit message
  - `force` boolean — Force publish even with conflicts

## Response `200`

Sync item published successfully

- SyncResultResponse — Result of a sync operation
  - `success` boolean, required
  - `message` string
  - `synced` string[] — Sync item IDs that were synced
  - `deleted` string[] — Sync item IDs deleted locally after remote deletion
  - `modified` string[] — Sync item IDs that were modified
  - `conflicts` string[] — Sync item IDs with conflicts
  - `errors` SyncError[]
    - `itemId` string
    - `message` string, required
  - `timestamp` string, date-time, required

- `404` — Sync item not found
- `409` — Conflict detected
- `default` — Unexpected error
