# Test notification channel

`POST /notification-channels/{channelId}/test`

Sends a sample failure notification to one saved channel, including disabled channels. Does not require a workflow or change notification rules. Developer, manager, or admin only.

Channel test delivery attempted

- TestDAGNotificationResponse — Result of test notification delivery
  - `results` TestDAGNotificationResult[], required
    - `targetId` string, required
    - `targetName` string, required
    - `provider` 'email' | 'webhook' | 'slack' | 'telegram' | 'teams', required — Notification delivery provider
    - `delivered` boolean, required
    - `error` string

## Other responses

- `403` — Forbidden - insufficient permissions
- `404` — Notification channel not found
- `default` — Unexpected error
