# Download step logs as ZIP of a DAG-run

`GET /dag-runs/{name}/{dagRunId}/steps/log/download`

Downloads stdout and stderr for the steps and lifecycle handlers of this
DAG-run only. Logs from nested DAG-runs are not included.
Returns a streaming ZIP archive with no size limit. Each available log is
stored as <index>-<step-name>/stdout.log or stderr.log, in run order.
Missing files are skipped. Each file includes only the bytes present when
it is opened; subsequent log growth is excluded.

## Path parameters

- `name` string, regex, required — Name of the DAG
- `dagRunId` string, required — Unique identifier for the DAG-run. The special value 'latest' can be used to reference the most recent DAG-run.

## Response `200`

ZIP archive of step log files

## Other responses

- `404` — DAG-run not found
- `default` — Generic error response
