# Respond to a managed-agent interaction

`POST /dag-runs/{name}/{dagRunId}/steps/{stepName}/agent-interactions/{interactionId}/respond`

## Request

- Base URL: `http://localhost/api/v1`
- URL: `http://localhost/api/v1/dag-runs/{name}/{dagRunId}/steps/{stepName}/agent-interactions/{interactionId}/respond`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - HTTP basic
  - none

## Path parameters

- `name` string, regex, required: Name of the DAG
- `dagRunId` string, required: Unique identifier for the DAG-run. The special value 'latest' can be used to reference the most recent DAG-run.
- `stepName` string, required
- `interactionId` string, required

## Query parameters

- `remoteNode` string

## Request body

- AgentInteractionResponseRequest: Answer to a pending managed-agent permission or question. A browser.write permission also takes skip: the operation is not run and the step ends without failing.
  - `decision` 'once' | 'session' | 'reject' | 'skip'
  - `answers` array[]
    - string[]

## Response `200`

Interaction response stored and resume attempted

- AgentInteractionResponse
  - `dagRunId` string, required
  - `stepName` string, required
  - `interactionId` string, required
  - `resumed` boolean, required
  - `subDAGRunId` string

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid or stale interaction response
- `404`: DAG-run, step, or interaction not found
- `409`: Managed session owner is unavailable or state changed
- `default`: Generic error response
