# Resume work after a saved approval

`POST /dag-runs/{name}/{dagRunId}/resume`

Retries resume admission for a root run without changing its approvals or inputs. Already queued or running resumes are not dispatched again.

## Path parameters

- `name` string, regex, required — Name of the DAG
- `dagRunId` string, required — Unique identifier for the DAG-run. The special value 'latest' can be used to reference the most recent DAG-run.

- `remoteNode` string

## Response `200`

Resume accepted or already in progress

- object
  - `dagRunId` string, required — Unique identifier for the DAG-run. The special value 'latest' can be used to reference the most recent DAG-run.
  - `resumed` boolean, required — Whether execution has been accepted

## Other responses

- `404` — DAG-run not found
- `409` — Run has no approved work ready to resume or its state changed
- `503` — Approval remains saved but resume admission failed; retry this endpoint
- `default` — Generic error response
