# Delete Machine

`DELETE /v1/machines/{machine_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.cyberdesk.io`
- URL: `https://api.cyberdesk.io/v1/machines/{machine_id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Delete a machine.

Associated runs are PRESERVED with machine_id set to NULL.
This ensures run history is never lost when a machine is deleted.
Connections and request logs are cascade deleted.

The machine must belong to the authenticated organization.
