# Cancel or delete a render

`DELETE /renders/{renderId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.cut.pro/api/v1`
- URL: `https://api.cut.pro/api/v1/renders/{renderId}`
- Auth: API key in header `X-Api-Key`

Cancels a queued or active render, or permanently deletes a completed/failed/expired render record. Deleting a completed render also removes the rendered video file from storage.
