# Get a generation

`GET /generations/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.cut.pro/api/v1`
- URL: `https://api.cut.pro/api/v1/generations/{id}`
- Auth: API key in header `X-Api-Key`

Returns one generation. Poll it every 10 seconds while `status` is `processing`; `output.url` is set once `ready`.

    - `url` string, required: Signed preview link, valid for 6 hours.

  - `expected_seconds` number, nullable, required: How long this model usually takes, while `processing`.
