# Enable Power (register the origin + redirect/root-path config)

`POST /connections/{id}/power`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.customdomain.ai/v1`
- URL: `https://api.customdomain.ai/v1/connections/{id}/power`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - HTTP bearer

Registers the origin the edge reverse-proxies to (SSRF-validated) plus the redirect / root-path config the ask answer carries. `application_url` is required to enable.

## Request body

- PowerConfigInput
  - `application_url` string, uri: origin the edge proxies to; required to enable, optional to re-power (kept if omitted).
  - `www_redirect` boolean
  - `redirect_to` string: set to a URL to 301 the host there; "" clears it.
  - `root_path_access` string[]

Power enabled

    - `connection_id` string, required
    - `domain` string, required
    - `origin` string: the URL the edge reverse-proxies to.
    - `powered` boolean, required: true when an origin is registered.
    - `www_redirect` boolean, required: serve an apex↔www redirect.
    - `redirect_to` string: when set, the edge 301s the host here.
    - `root_path_access` string[]
