# The customer says they are signed in

`POST /browser-sessions/{sid}:signed-in`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.customdomain.ai/v1`
- URL: `https://api.customdomain.ai/v1/browser-sessions/{sid}:signed-in`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Allowed only in `awaiting_sign_in`. The control plane attaches to the browser, opens the provider's DNS page, reads it (read only) and builds the plan. If the browser is still on the sign in page the state returns to `awaiting_sign_in` with the notice `not_signed_in`. Poll the view for the outcome.

- `401`: Error envelope: {code, title, details}.
- `409`: `browser_wrong_state`: the session is not awaiting sign in.
- `410`: `browser_expired`: the sign in window ran out.
