# List the caller’s saved archive views

`GET /api/v1/rest/documents/views`

The saved views the CALLING person has set up for the archive — the same ones the «Viste» menu shows them on the web and on the phone: a name, the search, class, status, direction, period, sort and grouping it captures, and whether it is their default (the view the archive opens on). Filters built in the web’s «Filtri» (label, macroarea, anagrafica, metadata clauses) are not in this shape — custodo_list_views with module documents returns the full reading. READ ONLY: custodo_save_view and custodo_delete_view keep and remove them. Use this to answer "what views do I have saved?" or to read a view’s filters before running the equivalent documents_search.

## Other responses

- `400`: The arguments did not validate: `error.message` names the field, what it expects and what arrived.
- `401`: No API key, or one that is malformed, unknown, revoked or expired.
- `403`: The call never ran: the module is off for this organisation, the credential lacks the permission or the module, the tier does not cover it, or the tool is destructive and the key was not minted for that.
- `422`: The tool ran and refused, in a sentence of its own (`TOOL_REFUSED`): the message says what to change. Retrying the same call will not help.
- `429`: The API key has spent its minute, or its day. Every request a key makes counts. See `Retry-After`.
