# Send the signer’s WhatsApp code

`POST /api/v1/firme/sign/{token}/code`

## Request

For a signer asked for a code on WhatsApp: six digits, valid ten minutes, five tries, one new code a minute.

- `token` string, required

## Response `200`

Where the code went and when another may be asked.

## Other responses

- `400`: The request did not validate: `error.details` names the fields.
- `403`: The module is off for this organisation, the credential lacks the permission, or the tier does not cover it.
- `404`: Nothing with that id in this organisation.
- `429`: Asked again too soon (`FIRME_CODE_THROTTLED`, `details.retryAfterSeconds`).
