# Create New File

`POST /api/editor/create`

Creates a new file with optional initial content.

## Request body

- CreateParams
  - `path` string, required — File path to create
  - `file_text` string, nullable — Initial file contents

## Response `204`

Successfully created file

## Other responses

- `400` — File already exists
- `422` — Validation Error
- `500` — Internal server error
