# View File Contents

`POST /api/editor/view`

## Request

Retrieves the contents of a file, optionally within a specified line range.

## Request body

- ViewParams
  - `path` string, required: File path to view
  - `view_range` integer[], nullable: Line range to view [start, end]

Successfully retrieved file contents
