# Create New File

`POST /api/editor/create`

## Request

Creates a new file with optional initial content.

## Request body

- CreateParams
  - `path` string, required: File path to create
  - `file_text` string, nullable: Initial file contents

## Response `204`

Successfully created file

- `422`: Validation Error
- `500`: Internal server error
