# DELETE /v1/origin/repos/{ownerSlug}/{repoName}

`DELETE /v1/origin/repos/{ownerSlug}/{repoName}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.cursor.com`
- URL: `https://api.cursor.com/v1/origin/repos/{ownerSlug}/{repoName}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Soft-deletes a repository. The repository stops appearing in lookups and
lists; no git data is torn down. For a repository syncing with an
upstream source, only Origin's copy is affected; the upstream repository
is untouched. Requires the `namespace:repositories:delete` scope on the
 owning namespace.

## Path parameters

- `ownerSlug` string, required
- `repoName` string, required

## Response `204`

OK

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: Forbidden
- `404`: The addressed resource, or its repository, does not exist or is not visible to the caller. Not-found and no-access are deliberately indistinguishable; a 404 never confirms that the resource does not exist.
- `429`: Too Many Requests
- `default`: Default error response
