# Delete an agent

`DELETE /v0/agents/{id}`

Delete a cloud agent. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required

Agent deleted successfully

- `400`: Invalid request - bad agent ID format
- `401`: Unauthorized - invalid or missing API key
- `403`: Forbidden - insufficient permissions
- `404`: Agent not found or access denied
- `409`: Conflict - agent is deleted or archived
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded
- `500`: Internal server error
