# Open the event stream

`GET /sse/api-regulated/v1/stream`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.currencyguard.com`
- URL: `https://api.currencyguard.com/sse/api-regulated/v1/stream`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Opens a Server-Sent Events connection and returns a session id on the first event. Nothing flows until you subscribe: use that session id with POST /subscriptions/{sessionId} to choose which message types this connection carries. One connection serves the whole session.
