# Get all currencies

`GET /api-regulated/v1/currencies`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.currencyguard.com`
- URL: `https://api.currencyguard.com/api-regulated/v1/currencies`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Returns a list of currencies supported by the platform. By default, only returns currencies used in active currency pairs (GBP, EUR, USD). Set activeOnly=false to see all configured currencies.

Currencies retrieved

- CurrencyDTO[]
  - `code` string: ISO 4217 currency code
  - `description` string: Description of the currency
  - `precision` integer: Precision of the currency (number of decimal places)
  - `calendarCode` string: Industry standard calendar codes
  - `isActive` boolean: Whether this currency is active. Tombstone flag: false = soft-deleted.
  - `rateRoute` 'DIRECT' | 'FX_IMPLIED': How this currency's discount factors are obtained: DIRECT from a bought curve, or FX_IMPLIED from the USD curve and forward points.
  - `eventSequence` integer: Event sequence number for event sourcing - globally monotonic across all entities
  - `versionNumber` integer: Strictly monotonically increasing version number for this record
  - `updatedBy` string: Username of the person or entity that updated this record
  - `updatedAt` string: Timestamp of the last update in UTC
  - `createdAt` string: Timestamp of creation in UTC
