# Download a stored result

`GET /api/v1/files/{file}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://curlshot.com`
- URL: `https://curlshot.com/api/v1/files/{file}`
- Auth: one of:
  - none
  - API key in query parameter `access_key`
  - API key in header `X-Access-Key`
  - HTTP bearer

The `url` of a JSON answer, a job or a webhook points here. That link carries `expires` and `token` and needs no access key. Without them, the owner can fetch the file with an access key. Files are removed at their `expires_at` time.

## Path parameters

- `file` string, required

## Query parameters

- `expires` integer
- `token` string

## Response `200`

The file.

## Other responses

- `401`: `access_key_required`: An access key is required. Pass `access_key` or the `X-Access-Key` header. `access_key_invalid`: The access key is not valid or has been revoked.
- `404`: `file_not_found`: This file does not exist or has expired.
