# Store a fact

`POST /api/v1/facts`

Store a persistent memory fact. Facts are semantically indexed and retrievable across any session or platform.

## Request body

- object
  - `text` string, required: The fact to store
  - `category` 'preference' | 'decision' | 'identity' | 'technical' | 'relationship', required: Fact category for filtering
  - `is_permanent` boolean: Whether the fact persists indefinitely

## Response `201`

Fact stored successfully
