# Test Subscription

`POST /v1/alerts/subscriptions/{subscription_id}/test`

## Request

  - API key in header `X-API-Key`
  - HTTP bearer

Send a synthetic, clearly-marked test event to verify the destination.

Paid-tier only. Free-tier callers receive 403 with the same upgrade hint
used elsewhere — a test webhook is the killer use-case for that channel,
so gating it for free matches the rest of the alerts surface.
