# Get Funding Rates

`GET /api/v1/hyperliquid/funding-rates`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://cryptodataapi.com`
- URL: `https://cryptodataapi.com/api/v1/hyperliquid/funding-rates`
- Auth: API key in header `X-API-Key`

Current + historical funding rates for a coin.

## Query parameters

- `coin` string, nullable: HL coin name (default BTC)
- `symbol` string, nullable: Alias for `coin` (the rest of the API says `symbol`). Send one or the other.
- `limit` integer

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- HLFundingRateResponse: Hyperliquid funding rate data.
  - `coin` string, required
  - `current_rate` number, nullable
  - `history` object[]

## Other responses

- `422`: Validation Error
