# Cross Exchange Funding

`GET /api/v1/derivatives/funding-rates`

## Request

- Auth: API key in header `X-API-Key`

Funding rates for ONE coin across Binance + Hyperliquid.

Per-coin by design (`?coin=`, default BTC). The public /funding-rates board
lists every Hyperliquid perp; for that universe over REST use
`GET /api/v1/hyperliquid/open-interest` (`assets[].funding_rate`).

`hyperliquid.history_count` is the number of recent HL settlements fetched
alongside the live rate. Read it with `history_status`: `ok` (history
present), `warming` (the fetch is still running — retry in a few seconds; the
live `current_rate` is unaffected), `unavailable` (HL returned nothing, or the
coin is not an HL perp). `0` with `warming` is not a stuck feed.

## Query parameters

- `coin` string: One coin per call, e.g. BTC, ETH, SOL
