# Get Daily Snapshot By Date

`GET /api/v1/backtesting/daily-snapshots/{date}`

## Request

Retrieve an archived daily snapshot for `date` (YYYY-MM-DD UTC).

Returns the full snapshot identical in shape to `/api/v1/daily`, including
the new `onchain_health_score` field. Use this to build historical
regime-tagged backtests without re-computing per-day signals yourself.

A snapshot for today is not written until the 20:00 UTC daily build (it is
keyed by build date, so day D lands at 20:00 UTC on D — NOT 01:00 UTC, which
is the separate backtesting Parquet export). Those 404s carry `Retry-After`
(seconds until that build) so a polling client backs off instead of hot-
looping; one consumer was observed retrying today's date ~1900 times in 2h.
