# Cluster by id

`GET /v1/clusters/by-id/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://crowdintel.xyz/api`

**Min tier: `free`.** One persistent funding cluster by its stable id (`clu_0x<40 hex>`): the pre-aggregated `cluster_stats` row plus the member list (wallet + role), capped at 500 members. Reads the worker-maintained read-model; it never recomputes a graph on the request path.

**Route note:** this lives at `/clusters/by-id/{id}`, not `/clusters/{id}` — the sibling dynamic segment at `/clusters` is `{funder}` (the funder-graph route), and two different path-parameter names cannot share a route level.

Cluster detail.

- ClusterDetail: A persistent funding cluster: pre-aggregated stats plus a capped member list.
  - `cluster_id` string
  - `member_count` integer, nullable
  - `total_pnl` number, nullable
  - `avg_win_rate` number, nullable
  - `total_bets` integer, nullable
  - `dominant_edge_type` string, nullable: Mode of the member edge types (deposit_reuse | distributor | gas | usdc_cex | temporal).
  - `top_funder` string, nullable
  - `computed_at` string, date-time, nullable
  - `members` ClusterMember[]: Cluster members (wallet + role), capped at 500, ordered by address.
    - `wallet` string
    - `role` string, nullable: member | intermediary | funder.

## Other responses

- `400`: Malformed parameters or a rejected guardrail (e.g. unfiltered trades query, cluster blowup, window > 90 days).
- `401`: Missing, invalid, or revoked API key. Returned before the rate limiter runs, so it carries no `X-RateLimit-*` headers.
- `403`: Key valid but its tier is below this endpoint's minimum. Returned before the rate limiter runs, so it carries no `X-RateLimit-*` headers.
- `404`: The requested resource was not found.
- `429`: Hourly or monthly rate limit exceeded.
