# Delete String/Asset Translations

`DELETE /projects/{projectId}/translations`

**Required scopes:** `project.translation` (Read and Write).

Delete translations for a string or an asset. Use the oneOf pattern:
 - **String type**: Use `stringId`
 - **Asset type**: Use `fileId`

## Path parameters

- `projectId` integer, required

## Query parameters

- `stringId` integer
- `fileId` integer
- `languageId` string

## Response `204`

String/Asset translations were successfully deleted

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized
- `402`: Payment required
- `403`: Forbidden
- `404`: Project, string, file, or language with specified id was not found
- `405`: Method Not Allowed
- `503`: Service Unavailable
