# Add String/Asset Comment

`POST /projects/{projectId}/comments`

**Required scopes:** `project.source.string` (Read and Write).

Add a comment or issue to a string or asset. Use the oneOf pattern:
- **String type**: Use `stringId`
- **Asset type**: Use `fileId`
