# Search Directories

`GET /directories`

**Required scopes:** `project.source.file` (Read only).

Searches directories by name/title. Provide up to 50 `projectIds`, or omit them to search all projects you can access in the organization.

- DirectoryCollectionResource: Base schema of resource container. Container is a wrapper object that contains payload in required `data` property and provides space for adding any other metadata.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid Request Parameters
- `404`: One of the requested projects was not found
- `422`: The search was too broad to complete within the time limit
