# Execute a cron job now

`POST /api/jobs/{jobId}/execute`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.cron.cool`
- URL: `https://api.cron.cool/api/jobs/{jobId}/execute`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP basic
  - API key in header `Authorization`

Runs the job immediately, out of schedule, and returns the target's response. Also records a job execution and fires the `job.executed` webhook. Requires the `jobs:write` scope.

- `jobId` string, required

## Response `200`

The target's response

## Other responses

- `404`: No such job in your project
