# View a LinkedIn profile (250/day limit). Omit identifier for your own. Accepts provider_id, slug, or URL. Returns member

`GET /api/v1/profiles/{identifier}`

## Request

## Path parameters

- `identifier` string, required

## Query parameters

- `linkedin_api` 'classic' | 'sales_navigator': Auto-defaults to sales_navigator when available. Set 'classic' to override.
- `notify` boolean: Whether viewing the profile triggers a 'profile view' notification to the person. Default: false.
- `sections` string[]: Request specific profile sections for a lighter response. Only honoured on classic, and only ONE section per request: Sales Navigator ignores it (sections_ignored) and asking for several widens to all (sections_widened). Omit for all.
- `refresh` boolean: Force a fresh fetch from LinkedIn, bypassing the cache (6h for your own profile, 30d for anyone else's). Use when a cached job title or company looks out of date. Costs one of the 250 daily profile views.
- `no_persist` boolean: If true, nothing from this response is saved to your account. Default false.
