# Search cached LinkedIn messages by keyword (1-100, default 20). Zero live API calls. Returns chat_id (e.g. 'msg_abc123')

`GET /api/v1/inbox/messages/search`

## Request

## Query parameters

- `query` string: Search term to find in message text
- `keyword` string: Alias for query.
- `keywords` string: Alias for query.
- `limit` number: Max results to return (default 20)
- `sent_only` boolean: Only search messages you sent (default false)
- `received_only` boolean: Only search messages you received (default false)

## Response `200`

Success

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or expired API key
- `403`: Insufficient key scope or permission denied
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded
