# Create a hosted connected-account attempt

`POST /api/v1/accounts/connect`

## Request

Requires delegated consent with the account owner present. Returns a hosted auth URL and attempt id.

- `403`: Insufficient key scope or permission denied
- `409`: Pending account limit reached
