# Clear the persistent queue for a Destination

`DELETE /system/outputs/{id}/pq`

Clear the persistent queue (PQ) for the specified Destination.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required

## Response `201`

The job ID for the background job that clears the persistent queue.

  - `items` string[], required — List of items in this response.

## Other responses

- `401` — Authentication failed (missing or invalid credentials or Bearer token).
- `500` — Unexpected server error.
