# Test webhook endpoint

`POST /webhook_endpoints/{id}/test`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.crevio.co/v1`
- URL: `https://api.crevio.co/v1/webhook_endpoints/{id}/test`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Sends a signed test event to the endpoint and returns what the receiver answered. A receiver that responds at all — even with an error status — is a `200` here, with `delivered: false`; `502` means nothing answered (DNS failure, refused connection, timeout).

The receiver's response to the test event

  - `delivered` boolean, required: Whether the receiver answered with a 2xx status
  - `response_code` integer, required: The HTTP status the receiver returned
  - `response_body` string, required: The body the receiver returned, truncated to 10,000 characters
  - `message` string, required

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request
- `401`: Authentication required
- `403`: Forbidden
- `404`: Resource not found
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded — 600 requests per minute per credential. Retry after the number of seconds in `Retry-After`.
- `500`: Internal server error
- `502`: The receiver could not be reached
