# Reply to a post or comment

`POST /socials/posts/{post_id}/comments`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.crevio.co/v1`
- URL: `https://api.crevio.co/v1/socials/posts/{post_id}/comments`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Posts a public reply to the post, or to a specific comment when comment_id is given. Published as the chosen connected account. Requires the post to be published.

  - `account_id` string, required: Connected account to reply as (sacct_ prefix id).
  - `message` string, required
  - `comment_id` string: Reply to this comment instead of the post.
  - `parent_cid` string: Bluesky only: parent content id.
  - `root_uri` string: Bluesky only: root post URI.
  - `root_cid` string: Bluesky only: root post CID.

- `401`: Authentication required
- `403`: Forbidden
- `404`: Resource not found
- `409`: Conflict
- `422`: Validation error
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded — 600 requests per minute per credential. Retry after the number of seconds in `Retry-After`.
- `500`: Internal server error
