# Activate social posting

`POST /socials/activate`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.crevio.co/v1`
- URL: `https://api.crevio.co/v1/socials/activate`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Enables social posting for the current account. Idempotent. Requires an active subscription.

## Headers

- `Idempotency-Key` string

## Response `200`

Activated

- object
  - `activated` boolean, required
  - `account_count` integer, required

## Other responses

- `401`: Authentication required
- `402`: An active subscription is required to use social posting.
- `403`: Forbidden
- `422`: Validation error
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded — 600 requests per minute per credential. Retry after the number of seconds in `Retry-After`.
- `500`: Internal server error
