# Search skills

`GET /skills`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.crevio.co/v1`
- URL: `https://api.crevio.co/v1/skills`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Searches the AI skills catalog, plus the skills your account uploaded (`visibility: "private"`, never in the public catalog). Filter by free-text `search` (matches name and description) and `category`, or pass `installed=true` for only the skills installed on your account. Each result includes `install_status`, `installed_version` and `update_available` for your account.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request
- `401`: Authentication required
- `403`: Forbidden
- `404`: Resource not found
- `422`: Validation error
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded — 600 requests per minute per credential. Retry after the number of seconds in `Retry-After`.
- `500`: Internal server error
