# Record call consent

`POST /phone-consents`

## Request

Records consent to call a number for a purpose (marketing or transactional). Required before an outbound call can be placed.

- `429`: Rate limit exceeded — 600 requests per minute per credential. Retry after the number of seconds in `Retry-After`.
- `500`: Internal server error
