# Discover companies

`POST /leads/discover`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.crevio.co/v1`

- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Finds companies (and their contacts) matching search filters such as a natural-language query, headcount, industry, technology or location. Backed by Hunter.io. Costs 2 credits per call.

  - `domain` string, nullable: Restrict to a specific domain.
  - `headcount` string, nullable: Employee count range (e.g. 1-10, 11-50, 51-200).
  - `company_type` string, nullable
  - `department` string, nullable
  - `seniority` string, nullable
  - `limit` integer, nullable: Max companies to return.
  - `technology` string[]
  - `industry` string[]
  - `location` string[]

    - `emails_count` integer, nullable: Total emails Hunter has for the company.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request
- `401`: Authentication required
- `402`: Insufficient credits
- `422`: Validation error
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded — 600 requests per minute per credential. Retry after the number of seconds in `Retry-After`.
- `500`: Internal server error
- `502`: Upstream (provider) failure
