# Disconnect a connection

`DELETE /connections/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.crevio.co/v1`
- URL: `https://api.crevio.co/v1/connections/{id}`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Disconnect any connection family by its unified public id (best-effort upstream revoke + local prune). A team connection stops working for everyone, and only a new OAuth connect brings it back; when Crevio's agent calls this, the user approves it first. To change who can use a connection, call PUT /connections/{id}/access instead; never disconnect and reconnect. An account admin can disconnect a team connection; only its owner can disconnect a personal one.
