# Estimate audience reach

`POST /ads/targeting/reach-estimate`

## Request

Pre-flight audience size for a targeting spec.

  - `optimization_goal` string

## Response `200`

Reach estimate.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request
- `401`: Authentication required
- `403`: Forbidden
- `404`: Resource not found
- `409`: Account not activated for ads (call POST /v1/socials/activate first).
- `422`: Validation error
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded — 600 requests per minute per credential. Retry after the number of seconds in `Retry-After`.
