# Boost a post

`POST /ads/boost`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.crevio.co/v1`
- URL: `https://api.crevio.co/v1/ads/boost`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Promote an existing published post as an ad.

## Headers

- `Idempotency-Key` string

## Request body

- object: Boost request.
  - `account_id` string
  - `ad_account_id` string
  - `post_id` string
  - `name` string
  - `goal` string
  - `budget` object: `{ amount, type }` — `type` is `daily` or `lifetime`. Whole currency units, NOT cents: 20 = $20.00. Meta's own Marketing API takes this number in minor units, so it is an easy and expensive mix-up — 2000 here buys $2000.00 of ads, not $20.00.
