# Create custom audience

`POST /ads/audiences`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.crevio.co/v1`

- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Create a customer-list, retargeting, or lookalike audience (Meta).

## Headers

- `Idempotency-Key` string

## Request body

- object: Audience to create.
  - `account_id` string
  - `ad_account_id` string
  - `name` string
  - `type` string

## Response `201`

Created audience.

- object: Created audience.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request
- `401`: Authentication required
- `403`: Forbidden
- `404`: Resource not found
- `409`: Account not activated for ads (call POST /v1/socials/activate first).
- `422`: Validation error
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded — 600 requests per minute per credential. Retry after the number of seconds in `Retry-After`.
